JEE 2025 Main Exam Paper Pattern Changes
When the pandemic started, NTA implemented a temporary measure to provide ease for students who were appearing for the JEE main entrance exam. Candidates were asked to attempt 5 question out of 10 in section B of the paper. Until 2024 this was in practice, and after the declaration of pandemic end by UN WHO in 5th May 2023, the optional part in JEE main was nullified.
Now, the latest notification by NTA has come up with an update in JEE main examination pattern which says that it is going to be conducted in its original format for the section b of paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech), paper 2 (B. Arch), and paper 2B (B. Planning) in which section B will contain only 5 questions per subject, and it is mandatory for candidates to answer these questions.
According to the NTA, it is anticipated that Joint Entrance Examination Main 2025 exam session 1 is expected to start on January 1, and Session 2 will take place in April 2025.
